ORDER
WHEREAS, the Indian Meteorological Department(IMD), Meteorological Centre,
Ahmedabad in its press release has issued a forecast stating extremely heavy to very
heavy rainfall at many places in Daman district over the next 24 hours.

ALSO WHEREAS, the district has witnessed adverse weather conditions and
continuing heavy rainfall for the last 24 hours.
THEREFORE, as a precautionary measure it is hereby ordered that all educational
institutions (government, aided, and private) shall remain closed on 20.07.2023.
