PRESS NOTE
The Chief Electoral Officer, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu held a
meeting with the representatives of recognized political parties on the Special Summary
Revision of Photo Electoral Roll w.r.t. 01.01.2024 as the qualifying date. All the political
parties was informed that the electoral roll revision activities will be held between the
period of 27.10.2023 to 09.12.2023 and citizens will also get the opportunity for filing
claims and objections during this period. The Electors can submit the form through
online/offline mode, however, thrust shall be placed on online mode.
The Chief Electoral Officer and Joint Chief Electoral Officer appealed to all the
representatives of political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAS) and participate
in the Special Camps to ensure maximum enrolment of eligible electors.
The representatives of Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress, Aam
Aadmi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party attended the meeting.
Seeking the cooperation of political parties, CEO UT of DNH & DD stated that
special camps will be held on 18th & 19th November, 2023, and 02nd & 03rd December
2023 where Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be present at their respective polling
stations for ensuring maximum enrolment & purity of electoral rolls.
