16/05/2025 को क्राइम ब्रांच पुलिस स्टेशन को एक गुप्त और विश्वसनीय सूचना मिली थी कि बांग्लादेशी नागरिक दमन के देवका और नानी दमन क्षेत्र के आस-पास रह रहे हो सकते हैं। यह सूचना वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के साथ साझा की गई और वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के निर्देश पर क्राइम ब्रांच पोलिस स्टेशन की टीम ने देवका और नानी दमन क्षेत्र में जांच की, खोज के दौरान देवका से 02 महिला बांग्लादेशी नागरिक और नानी दमन से 03 महिला बांग्लादेशी नागरिक पाई गईं। जिनके पास भारत के नागरिकता संबन्धित दस्तावेज़ मांगने पर पेश नहीं कर पाये। जांच के दौरान सभी महिला बंगलादेशी नागरिक होने की प्रमाण मिलने पर सभी पांच महिला बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को संबंधित पुलिस स्टेशन को सौंप दिया गया। आगे बंगदेशी महिलाओ को बांग्लादेश भेजने की प्रक्रिया शरू कर दी गयी हैं।
पूर्व में क्राइम ब्रांच द्वारा एक बांग्लादेशी महिला को पकड़ा गया था और उसे निर्वासन (डिपोर्टेशन) की कार्यवाही के लिए स्थानीय थाना (PS) के हवाले किया गया था।
आज क्राइम ब्रांच द्वारा 5 और बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को पकड़ा गया है और उन्हें भी संबंधित थाने को निर्वासन की कार्यवाही के लिए सौंपा जा रहा है।
अब तक क्राइम ब्रांच द्वारा कुल 6 बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को पकड़ा गया है।

Earlier, a Bangladeshi woman was caught by the Crime Branch and was handed over to the local police station (PS) for deportation proceedings. On 16/05/2025, the Crime Branch Police Station received a secret and reliable information that Bangladeshi citizens may be living around Devka and Nani Daman area of Daman. This information was shared with the senior officer and on the instructions of senior officers, the team of Crime Branch Police Station conducted investigation in Devka and Nani Daman area, during the search, 02 female Bangladeshi citizens were found from Devka and 03 female Bangladeshi citizens from Nani Daman. Who were not able to produce Indian citizenship related documents on demand. During investigation, on getting proof of all the women being Bangladeshi citizens, all five female Bangladeshi citizens were handed over to the concerned police station. Further, the process of sending Bangladeshi women to Bangladesh has been started. Earlier one Bangladeshi lady was apprehended by Crime Branch and was handed over to the local Police Station (PS) for deportation proceedings.
Today 5 more Bangladeshi nationals have been apprehended by Crime Branch and they are also being handed over to the concerned Police Station for deportation proceedings.
Till now a total of 6 Bangladeshi nationals have been apprehended by Crime Branch.
