Earlier on Thursday, the Enforcement
Directorate (ED) had opposed his bail. ED
had said that a politician cannot claim any
privilege compared to an ordinary citizen.
If he commits a crime, he can be arrested
and detained like any other citizen. A
bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and
Dipankar Dutta said that Kejriwal, arrested
in a money laundering case related to the
alleged excise policy scam, will have to
surrender on June 2 and go back to jail.
