KIDNAPPING CASE SOLVED SWIFTLY BY KACHIGAM POLICE

Kachigam Police Station successfully solved a kidnapping case within hours of
its reporting, showcasing quick response and effective coordination.
On 23/06/2025 at about 18:45 hours, a 112-call reported that some persons
assaulted Shri Sachin Rakesh Yadav and his father Shri Rakesh Yadav at Sellwell
Company near Somnath Junction, Nani Daman. Shri Rakesh Yadav was forcefully
taken away in a white Scorpio (GJ-15-CA-5437).
Acting swiftly, a police team led by the Station House Officer and guided by the
Superintendent of Police and SDPO, launched an intensive operation. The victim was
traced and safely rescued from Vatar, Gujarat. FIR No. 34/2025 was registered under
sections 140(4), 115(2), 127(2), 351(3), 352, 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Based on technical and human intelligence, Police arrested four accused on
the same day:
- Vivek Salikram Yadav, age-23 yrs, rio Mashal chowk, Nani Daman
- Amit Salikram Yadav, age- 20 yrs, r/o Mashal chowk, Nani Daman
- Surajkumar Santram Gautam, age- 20 yrs, r/o Vatar road, Valsad, Gujarat
- Rohit Ayodhya Bari, age-22 yrs, r/o Vatar road, Valsad, Gujarat
The Scorpio Car bearing registration No. GJ-15-CA-5437 which was used the
crime has been seized by police.
The above accused persons were produced before the Hon’ble court Daman
and they have been granted judicial custody till 07th June, 2025.
Motive: The investigation revealed that the victim, Shri Rakesh Yadav, previously
worked under the labour contract business of Shri Salikram Yadav but later started his
own labour supply business. He allegedly persuaded several workers from Salikram
Yadav’s group to join his contract. This led to professional rivalry between the parties.
Enraged by this, Salikram Yadav’s sons – accused 1) Vivek Saliram Yadav and 2)
Amit Saliram Yadav along with other two above mentioned accused who are their
workers, planned and executed the kidnapping to “teach him a lesson”.
