Case Details:
On 20.05.2025, a complaint was received at Dabhel Police Station, Daman, from one
Rahul Kumar S/o Shivkailash Ram, aged 24 years, residing at Room No. 13, Gulabbhai
Building, Aatiyawad Char Rasta, Dabhel, Nani Daman. The complainant reported that on
the intervening night of 16-17 May 2025, unknown persons broke into his rented room
while he and his roommates were asleep and stole three mobile phones valued at
54,499/-. Upon waking up, they found the door locked from outside. Later, it was
discovered that another phone (Realme C63) and a bicycle worth 3,000/- were also
stolen from neighboring rooms.A case was registered underFIR No. 23/2025 U/s
331(4), 305(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Dabhel Police Station.
Moreover, Subsequent investigation has revealedthat Crime No. 28/2025 u/s 331(4)
and 305(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023 was also committed by the
same arrested accused. The accused illegally entered the room and stole an OPPO A79
5G mobile phone (Glowing Green colo), valued at 20,000/- thief broke the latch of the
door of Room No. 10 at Babubhai’s Chawl, Dabhel, Daman.
Investigation Details:
A detailed technical investigation was carried out under the guidance of Superintendent
of Police. CCTV footage from the vicinity was analyzed, and technical surveillance was
initiated to trace the stolen mobile phones.Based on human and technical intelligence,
following three accused have been arrestel.
Details of arrested accused: –

1. Jahid @ Lala (Age 27), R/o. Room No. 402 Haram Apt. Gayatri Nagar Chhiri
   Vapi, Native District Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh (He received the stolen
   property).
2. Sajid Khan @ Kallu (Age 25), R/o Room No-101 Guddu ki Chal Krishna park
   Koparli Road Gayatri Nagar Chhiri Vapi. Native: U.P. (He received the stolen
   property)
   3.
   Samir S/o Magbul Khan (Age 28), R/o. Room No-3 Prakashbhai ki Chal Oppo-
   Jannat Building. Chhiri, Gala Mashala Vapi. Native:Kesharganj, U.P. (He is thief
   and stole the property).
