BLIND HALF MURDER CASE WITH ROBBERY SOLVED BYACHIGAM POLICE
STATION WITHIN 48 HOURS OF REGISTRATION
Brief Fact:-
That a Complaint was received from Shri Satyam Dinesh Singh (Son of victim
person), aged 22 years, residing atParam Residency, Kachigam Check Post, Native of
District – Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The brief of the case is that on 03.01.2025, when the victim namely Dinesh Vijay
Bahadur, working in the Time Technoplast Company, Unit-7, Dungri Falia, Kachigam,
was returning from his job towards his residence atParam Residency, at around 23:15
hrs one unknown accused person intercepted him on the road between Kachigam char
rasta to Kachigam check post and demanded money and on denying and resisting, the
said unknown person caused him multiple stab injuries with sharp knife and robbed
money from the victim. The victim was taken to Government Hospital, Moti Daman
from where he was referred at Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Silvassa. In this regard FIR
No. 01/2025, U/s. 311, 109(1) of BNS, 2023 has been registered at Kachigam Police
Station.
Investigation:-
The case being sensitive in nature which created fear among the workers and
pedestrians who commute on the road for their jobs and business on daily basis, as per
the directions of Shri. Ketan Bansal (IPS), Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Daman
District, various Police teams were formed under the leadership oShri. Shashi Kumar
Singh, SHO, Kachigam Police Station. More than 100 CCTV cameras were analyzed
from across Vapi and Daman area by various Police teams. Human intelligence was
also gathered by Police teams. Based on secret information, accused was nabbed and
arrested on 06-01-2025.

Native – Village-Piprahi, Post-Chowki, Police Station- Thawe, District-Gopalganj,
During interrogation, he confessed to have committed the crime. It is revealed
that he is a habitual drunker and he was in need of money and therefore he had
committed the said crime. His criminal antecedents are being verified.
Accused was produced before the Hon’ble JMFC Court, Daman on 07-01-2025
and was granted 03 days Police Custody. Further, investigation is under progress.
