Under the able guidance of the honourable administrator Shri Prafullabhai Patel, a big crackdown on the corrupt has been carried out. A corruption of more than 10 crore rupees done by a clerk named Manisha Chauhan working in the health department in connivance with some officers has been successfully exposed. This clerk had amassed property worth crores in her name in the states of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Gujarat by embezzling the money deposited in the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) for the treatment of Maryjohn and by committing a big fraud in the medical college. The administration got wind of this and immediately swung into action. Manisha Chauhan has been suspended with immediate effect and further action has been initiated. It is surprising that how a clerk like Manisha Chauhan, working in the same department for 14 years in violation of the transfer policy, accumulated property worth crores? More big names are expected to come to light in further action because this clerk is a favourite of an officer. He has been taking advantage of this from time to time like having his own private cabin in the office (OPD No. 10), personal parking space along with well parking and has also employed his relatives in the health department through corrupt practices. Anyway, the administration has been seen in action mode for some time now, which is praiseworthy.
