The accused person Savan Patel has been arrested.
The victim’s vehicle and charred remains of the body recovered
On 18t Mar 2022 a complaint was received in PS SIvassa that one person namey Kanmo
Amugam Age-45 years Rio Govt Cuarters Nisarg Colcny Toxarkhada Sivasa and workrg
as Principal, Nursing Colilege. Daman had gone missng from her house. Immed ately a mssng
report was registered and multge police teams of Daman and Dadra Nagar Havel Dstricts
were deployed to trace her wheresbouts. Massive human soarch operation along with technea
suveitlance was camed out under the supenvision of Dr Vikramjt Singh 1Ps DIGP, UT er DNH
&DD and leadership of Shri Amt Sharma iPS SP Daman across al areas of Daman and
Sivassa
Ouring enqury t came to natice that the victim had been abducted, therefore a FIR was
registered vide Cr No 60/2022 uls 365.348 IPC PS Sivassa and accused person namely
Savan Patel Age-26 years R/o Patlara, Moti Daman who was working as Accountant in Nursing
Colege. Daman armested
Dunng interogaion the accused confessed that victim was her Supervisor in the Nursing
colege and she came to know about financiel imegularites committed by the accused in Vess
und and Admission fees, which she was asking the accused perscn to clear The sccused
person gct concemed about iregulares so he plianned to get rid of the principal by commiting
murder
on 28th Feb 2022 he requested the victim to alow him to st inside her car on the pretext of
eling her who had misappropriated the funds. He then cverpowered her and kiled har inside
he car Thereater he drove the veticle alorg with dead booy and parked the same behd
ouay Lake Tarakpaai, Vapi town Gujarat and in order to destroy the evidence he burned the
ce aong wth dead body of victim. The chamed remains of the body of victim and vericie
ave Deen recovered at the instance of the accused
